Butch, a Border Collie probable mix, was rescued from a central Ohio county "kill" shelter after being left there by his "owners." He is only about one year old, up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and has been neutered.
Butch's foster mom says Butch is a fun-loving boy! He is good with other dogs (male and female). He REALLY likes her cat, (the cat thinks he is a little too physical though). Butch is pretty high energy and does exhibit have some herding instincts. He is only semi-interested in balls, but that may be because no one played with him before. He is a sweetheart!

To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment, subsequent to completion of the Adoption Application. We conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
Out of state Adoption Applications will not be accepted for Butch. Potential Adopters must be a resident of the State of Ohio.
