Clyde aka Red aka Emmett aka Rusty is not only looking for a permanent home, but also a definitive name. No one around here can agree on what he should be called. Initially, Clyde aka Red aka Emmett aka Rusty just "looks" like a Clyde! He seemed to respond to "Red," but we're not really certain that that may have been his name. One person likes the name Emmett, but that hardly seems appropriate.
Of course, Red and Rusty come from the fact that Clyde aka Red aka Emmett aka Rusty is a very very red and white Beagle - he even has the copper nose! Clyde aka Red aka Emmett aka Rusty is a bit more than just a Beagle though! There is something else mixed in there and we think it may be Bassett Hound. Clyde aka Red aka Emmett aka Rusty is just a little bit too long and has just a tad bit more "ear" than a purebred Beagle!
Clyde aka Red aka Emmett aka Rusty is approximately 2 years old. He is up to date on his vaccinations, crate trained (may be house trained already, but we aren't convinced yet), and will be neutered before placement. He is a medium energy dog that gets along well with the other Beagles here at Caleb's and is extremely friendly to all us humans.
To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment, subsequent to completion of the Adoption Application. We conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
Out of state Adoption Applications will not be accepted. Potential Adopters must be a resident of the State of Ohio.
