Ellie Mae, a purebred female beagle, is approximately 1 - 2 years old and is of medium size. Ellie Mae weighs 25 lbs. She is tri colored. Ellie is a very sweet natured friendly dog who gets along with everyone, including other dogs, cats, and children!
Ellie Mae, her husband, Elvis and Baby Beagle all were surrendered to a county humane society by someone claiming to have found all three walking down the road together....we tend to disbelive that, but, they are all safe now and are seeking their forever homes. Ellie Mae and Elvis are very attached to each other and it would be wonderful if they could be placed together.....but this is not required.
Ellie Mae has had all her vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm and is on preventative. She will be spayed prior to adoption.
To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover her vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment and should you decide that you do want to adopt a particular dog, we conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
We prefer to adopt Ellie Mae locally (Northern Ohio), or at least within Ohio, but will consider an out of state adoption in order for her to find the perfect home.
