Elmo is approximately four months old, weighs about 15 pounds, and is a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier Mix. Isn't he adorable? Elmo just came into our rescue so we are only now beginning to learn his personality. So far, we know Elmo to be ACTIVE! He is crate trained and beginning housetraining. He will soon have his first full series of vaccinations, having had a partial vaccination at the shelter, and is on heartworm preventative.
To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment and should you decide that you do want to adopt a particular dog, we conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
We prefer to adopt locally (Northern Ohio), or at least within Ohio, and will accept applications from out of state.
