Luna was surrendered to a veterinarian by her owners who didn't want to pay for the surgery necessary to remove the puppies that had died inside her. They wanted her euthanized instead!
Luna is now with us and seeking a new home where she will be loved, cherished and appreciated for the rest of her life.
Luna's foster mom says she is very playful and loves to be hugged. She is just too cute! Luna is only about 9 inches tall and probably only weighs about 15-20# max. if she even weighs that much. She loves to be outside and loves to get kisses and hugs.
Luna has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccination, tested negative for heartworm and is on preventative.
To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover her vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment and should you decide that you do want to adopt a particular dog, we conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
We prefer to adopt locally (Northern Ohio), or at least within Ohio, but will consider an out of state adoption in order to find the perfect home.
