Max, a purebred 1 1/2 year old male beagle, is very loving with adults and other dogs. Max is fairly energetic - typical Beagle! He is also very intelligent. Max loves attention, toys, and balls. He has tons of potential in the right home. Max does not care for young children. That attitude stems from his previous home as he was raised in a day care center with no real supervision over the youngsters there. The children proved too much for Max, so we require that he not go to anyone with children under 15 years of age.
Max is up to date on his vaccinations, negative for heartworm, on preventative and has been neutered.
To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment, subsequent to completion of the Adoption Application. We conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
Out of state Adoption Applications will not be accepted. Potential Adopters must be a resident of the State of Ohio.
