Oscar is a little Beagle mix pup recently saved from a local pound. He is just adorable, wouldn't you say? We guesstimate Oscar to only be 8 to 10 months old. He weighs around 20 pounds and, while Oscar isn't very tall, he is a little looooooooooooong .... built a bit like a hot dog or weiner, depending on your choice of phraseology.
This little boy is so friendly. He loves people...loves other dogs....and is just a bundle of energy! I envision Oscar to be the perfect companion to a young boy or girl, although children are certainly not a requirement to adopt!
He's also a quick study learning his new name in a matter of days! Oscar comes when called and is being taught all about housetraining and sleeping in a crate. Oscar does lack a bit in the education department, but lucky for him, he's now enrolled in Caleb's Canine School of Good Manners, where he's earning big E's for EFFORT!
Oscar has had his first round of vaccinations, been wormed and neutered.
To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment and should you decide that you do want to adopt a particular dog, we conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
We prefer to adopt locally (Northern Ohio), or at least within Ohio, and will not accept applications from out of state.
