Rose is an approx 2 yr old mostly beagle. She is approx 26#. She has been spayed, had all her shots and is heartworm negative and on preventative. Rose was found as a stray and rescued from the shelter. She is very timid and will need a nice quiet home. She has made some progress while in foster care but she is very slow to trust (hard to imagine how she was treated before). She is a very quiet beagle, doesn't bark much unless the other dogs do or she knows it's chow time!! Rose gets along well, is very playful, and loves to run with the other dogs. She loves to play with balls, as you can see from the photos below. She'll need a lot of TLC and someone who doesn't work long hours as she does best when only left for short periods (no more than 3-4 hours). She's a real velcro dog and will follow you all over the house. She is pretty much house broken but not trustworthy. Rose is a gem in the rough......with a lot of love and patience, she will be a very loyal companion. Fenced yard and no young children.
To adopt Rose: An Adoption Application must be completed, submited & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover her vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant.
We prefer to adopt Rose locally (Northern Ohio), or at least within Ohio, but will consider an out of state adoption in order for her to find the perfect home.
