Sadie, is a 3 year old copper and white beagle,
weighing about 20 lbs. She is more laid back than the other beagles. She
prefers to spend time with her favorite person. She seems to prefer the company
of female dogs over male dogs and we don't think she would do well in a home with an
alpha male dog. Sadie does not bark a lot. She is more quiet than the other
hounds.
Sadie does like to play fetch, knows sit and down and is crate trained. She does
well on a leash and likes to ride in the car. She also likes to have some squeaky
fuzzy toys. Sadie has her favorite toys which she keep away from the dogs. She
seems to prefer adults to children but if she were in a home with older children she would
be fine. Sadie is a wonderful beagle and is ready for her forever home.
Sadie has had her vaccinations, been spayed, wormed, tested negative for heartworm and is on preventative.
To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment and should you decide that you do want to adopt a particular dog, we conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
We prefer to adopt locally (Northern Ohio), or at least within Ohio, and will not accept applications from out of state.
