Sarah is about 1 1/2 years old. Sarah loves to be inside. She loves to curl up in a nice warm blanket and take a nap, while her foster mom is cooking. Sarah is doing wonderfully with her housetraining at her new foster home. She worries about getting dirty and tends to tip-toe when the grass is wet or a mud puddle is in the area.....very not typical beagle!
Sarah knows basic commands: sit & down. On occasion, when the foster son says BANG!! she will roll on her side.
When you first meet Sarah after she has been crated, she gives you a wonderful melody of howls - two minutes worth if you keep talking to her.
Sarah likes to be with her people all the time. If you have a fenced yard she still likes people to go out with her when she's doing her thing.
She gets along well with other dogs, but when playing in a group, she tends to get over excited. One other dog in the home is probably best. Sarah also loves playing with her toys.
Sarah is up to date on her vaccinations and has been spayed.
To apply to adopt: An Adoption Application must be completed, submitted & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant. Visits with our rescue dogs are by appointment and should you decide that you do want to adopt a particular dog, we conduct a home visit and a reference check as part of the application process.
We prefer to adopt locally (Northern Ohio), or at least within Ohio, and will not accept applications from out of state.
