Beauregard has been with us since Monday, March 5, 2001 and is now ready for a permanent home. He came to us from a county humane society. He is approximately 3 years old, weighs 24 pounds and is 14 inches tall. Beauregard is a very friendly happy pup who loves to sit on your lap or lay beside you and be petted. Beau also loves to eat, so you have to be careful not to let him convince you that he's just starving!
Beau likes to play with his toys and sometimes chase a ball. When excited, he does the cutest little dance with his front feet while wagging his tail!
He is very well behaved in the house and housebroken. We believe he was an outside dog so he has had to learn about NOT going in the house. He is also very smart. He learned his name very quickly and comes running from wherever he is when you call him. He is now crate trained and goes to bed every night when told.
Beau has been vaccinated, wormed, neutered, and, after testing negative for heartworm, is on preventative.
To adopt Beauregard: An Adoption Application must be completed, submited & approved. An adoption contract and an adoption fee (to help cover his vet expenses) will also be required. We reserve the right to reject any applicant.
We prefer to adopt Beau locally (Northern Ohio), or at least within Ohio, but will consider an out of state adoption in order for him to find the perfect home.
